Description

You will architect the technical foundation for our data science team, refactoring Python notebooks into production-ready applications, designing scalable predictive modeling pipelines, and building internal tooling to accelerate analyst productivity. You'll work on systems that directly impact millions of customers, from credit risk assessment to inventory optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Math, or related field
• 5+ years experience in data engineering and data warehousing
• 2+ years building production systems with emphasis on scalability and code quality
• Strong experience with Python and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including OOP, design patterns, and testing

Responsibilities

• Refactor and productionalize Python code from Data Scientists into reliable, maintainable applications with testing and error handling
• Design and maintain robust predictive modeling data pipelines
• Develop internal tooling to accelerate Analyst, Data Scientist, and Data Engineer productivity
• Design high-availability applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Create ETL/ELT processes for data integration with quality and lineage tracking
