Description
As the Business Solutions Manager, you'll oversee the operations of the Business Solutions department across Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren counties, coordinating services between economic developers, educators, employers, and Michigan Works! programs. Your role involves program planning, staff supervision, service delivery coordination, and reporting to ensure alignment with local employer needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Supervisory skills to manage daily operations and staff
- Analytical skills to identify operational problems and solutions
- Written and verbal skills for report preparation and delivery
- Communication and organizational skills for a quality work environment
Responsibilities
- Coordinate Business Team activities including employer outreach, education, grant management, and referrals
- Supervise staff, provide guidance, evaluate performance, and assess training needs
- Develop and implement systems for efficient resource utilization and objective achievement
- Prepare and process forms, records, and reports including program evaluations
- Identify and leverage federal, state, and local resources for program objectives
