💼 About This Role

You'll join the Datastore team at Pure Storage, productizing a differentiated storage solution. Expect to drive root cause analysis and resolution for PCIe, NVMe, and SMBus issues. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge PCIe Gen5/Gen6 technologies and leverage automation and AI for issue triaging.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own triage, root cause, and resolution of hardware issues.
• Guide development of PCIe, NVMe, and SMBus validation test plans.
• Lead failure analysis and root cause investigations for field issues.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in advanced interface issue troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related field).
• Hands-on experience with PCIe Gen5/Gen6.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, BASH, and similar languages.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with PCIe compliance testing (SIG) for SSD products.
• Experience with test equipment including PCIe analyzer, Exerciser, Jammer.
