Description

You will design, implement, and secure cloud-based systems to support mission-critical environments, focusing on building reliable, automated infrastructure and integrating security across the development lifecycle. This role involves building and operating secure, scalable cloud infrastructure, engineering CI/CD pipelines, and automating provisioning and system operations to support consistent, scalable operations for federal government clients.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in DevOps engineering or cloud platform engineering
• 1 year of experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or similar) and CLI
• 3 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g.: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
• 3 years of proficiency with Bash, Python, or other scripting and automation technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or 4+ years of relevant job or military experience in lieu of degree
• DoD 8140 compliance (e.g. Security+, CISSP, CASP, etc)
• Ability to work on-site at Eglin Air Force Base or willingness to relocate

Responsibilities

• Build and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure
• Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible
• Engineer CI/CD pipelines that enable fast, reliable deployments
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and system operations end-to-end
• Integrate security controls (IAM, encryption, network security) into pipelines and infrastructure
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve system performance and reliability
