Description

You will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team providing palliative care to hospice clients, allowing them to remain at home. You'll enjoy a 1:1 patient ratio and comprehensive benefits.

Requirements

• At least one year of work experience as a Home Health Aide
• Active and in good standing Certified Home Health Aide in NJ
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Must pass BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Must have criminal background check completed and meet state requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care)
• Perform range of motion exercises and transfers using mechanical lifting devices
• Administer oral feeding and vital sign checks (temperature, pulse, respiration)
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and bed making
• Assist with ambulation and medication assistance
