As a Principal Propulsion Engineer, you'll drive engine system architecture and integration for Terran R, managing interfaces, analysis, and testing to shape the future of our rockets. Your deep technical expertise will directly influence product trajectory and mentor the team.

Requirements

• Experience applying engineering fundamentals in fluid mechanics and thermodynamics
• Capable of leading collaborative projects to completion with minimal oversight
• Self-starter always looking to improve and learn about interfacing systems
• Willingness to travel ~15% to test and launch sites
• Occasional shifted schedules or weekend work for critical milestones

Responsibilities

• Drive engine system architecture and CONOPS trades
• Manage engine interfaces and negotiate requirements for vehicle optimization
• Support engine system development, analysis, simulation, and testing
• Bring deep technical acumen to system-level engineering problems
• Serve as a mentor while also learning from other propulsion experts
