Description

You will develop and modify designs for aero-engine components using CAE tools, collaborate with engineering teams, and ensure designs meet performance, cost, and system requirements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of mechanical design experience in gas-turbine or turbo-machinery
• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering
• Experience with NX and ANSYS
• Ability to interpret technical drawings with GD&T
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Responsibilities

• Develop/modify designs for aero-engine components analyzing specifications and manufacturing capabilities
• Execute mechanical design projects for gas turbine components on structures/rotating parts
• Evaluate new designs, materials, or processes and generate documentation
• Capture design system requirements from customer and incorporate into component design
• Support technical substantiation and present in technical/program reviews
