💼 About This Role

You'll own the day-to-day accounting function and build a faster, audit-ready close for a rapidly growing retail security company. As Controller, you'll partner with the VP of Finance and leverage AI tools and NetSuite to move with speed and precision. This fractional role has a clear path to full-time.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Drive the monthly close calendar and deliver clean financial statements with variance analysis.
• Lead monthly reconciliations across bank, AR, AP, payroll, inventory, and deferred revenue.
• Support NetSuite implementation including COA design and controls.
• Manage onshore and offshore accounting teams with SOPs and QA standards.

📋 Requirements

• Controller or Assistant Controller experience with full ownership of close and financial reporting.
• NetSuite experience required (implementation experience strongly preferred).
• Strong GAAP foundation with audit and external CPA/tax support experience.
• Experience leading distributed and offshore accounting teams.

• QuickBooks Online experience
• Experience in a multi-revenue-stream environment (SaaS + hardware + services)
• Track record of improving close speed and quality while strengthening controls
