Description

You will lead all legal matters related to employment, incentives, and pensions for Monzo across the UK and Europe, working at an executive level to shape people strategy, regulation, and governance. You'll partner with the Chief People Officer and senior leadership to provide strategic advice and ensure compliance within a bank regulatory framework.

Requirements

• Senior legal leadership experience in employment, incentives, and pensions
• Solid grounding in share options and incentive structures
• Experience within a bank regulatory compensation framework (CRD V, SMCR)
• Ability to advise across the entire employee life cycle including contentious matters
• Proven track record of developing scalable internal frameworks

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice on EIP matters across the Monzo Group and its subsidiaries
• Partner with Group Chief People Officer and executive leadership on policies and procedures
• Work with VP of Reward and Remuneration Committee on compensation and share options
• Manage a team of two senior employment lawyers and mentor other lawyers
• Support international EIP projects in the EU and other jurisdictions
