You'll lead safety and quality management processes for autonomous ground support equipment at major airports, working with engineering leadership to ensure safety maturity and regulatory compliance. You'll own the Safety Risk Register, manage the Safety Council, and implement quality controls across hardware and software. This role stands out for its impact on certifying autonomous systems in aviation environments.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead hazard analysis and risk assessments for autonomous systems
• Manage the Safety Risk Register and ensure mitigation plans
• Develop formal safety management system procedures
• Implement product lifecycle management tools for traceability
• Lead root cause analysis and CAPA process

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in aviation safety, systems safety, or quality engineering
• 3+ years in highly regulated high-tech environment (aerospace or autonomous vehicles)
• SMS mastery with comprehensive knowledge of ICAO and FAA standards
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent

✨ Nice to Have

• MS degree in related technical discipline
• Experience with airport/airline operations or airside driving environment
• Professional certifications like CSP, Six Sigma, ASQ CQE
