💼 About This Role

You'll own backend systems and APIs on AWS serverless infrastructure that process millions of decisions daily for Taktile's automated decisioning platform. Your work directly impacts fraud detection, AML, and credit decisioning. You'll operate in a high-leverage environment with AI-assisted coding tools embedded into daily workflows.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and own backend services in Python/FastAPI on AWS serverless infrastructure
• Design and evolve high-scale subsystems operating on historical decision data
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business problems into scalable technical systems
• Maintain high bar for code quality, system reliability, and delivery velocity

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years building and owning production backend systems
• Comfort working with large datasets
• Prior industry experience with Python
• Experience with AWS services and serverless architectures

• Experience with large-scale data technologies (Apache Iceberg, Athena, Spark)
• Experience with React and TypeScript
• Exposure to fraud, AML, risk, or financial decisioning domains
