💼 About This Role

You'll manage special education compliance and deliver small group interventions for a network of charter schools in East Harlem and the South Bronx. You'll ensure IEP meetings are timely and effective while providing data-driven academic support in reading and math. This role blends compliance and instruction to create equitable opportunities for underserved students.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Schedule and facilitate IEP meetings with families and DOE
• Maintain accurate special education records and testing accommodations
• Teach small group intervention lessons in reading and math
• Monitor student progress weekly and adjust interventions accordingly

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years teaching experience in special education
• New York State certification in Special Education preferred
• Record of high student achievement in special education setting
