You'll lead Skydio's state and local government policy strategy, shaping the adoption of autonomous drone technology across cities and states. You'll drive initiatives like Drones as First Responders and infrastructure inspection modernization. This role offers the chance to shape AI and autonomy policy at the community level with a leading US drone company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage state and local government policy strategy
• Build relationships with governors, mayors, and legislators
• Monitor and analyze state and municipal drone legislation
• Collaborate with Policy, SLED, and Communications teams

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years in state or local government relations or policy
• Proven success working with state and local officials
• Experience developing legislation on drones, AI, or public safety
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
