You will lead nursing strategy and quality across Aspire’s multi-state footprint, overseeing medication management, compliance, and clinical risk reduction for neurodiverse individuals. This role involves standardizing nursing practices, implementing an eMAR system, and partnering with operations to ensure care excellence.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, with multi-state licensure or ability to obtain required state licenses.
  • 7–10 years of progressive nursing leadership experience in the IDD field, including oversight in multi-site/multi-state environments.
  • Strong knowledge of medication administration systems, delegation practices, and regulatory requirements in IDD and/or behavioral health settings.
  • Experience supporting individuals with IDD, aging adults with complex medical needs, and those receiving behavioral health or psychotropic medications.
  • Prefer Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with eMAR implementation preferred; HRST or similar risk stratification tools; oversight of internal and contracted nursing models.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as senior nursing authority, accountable for quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance across all states.
  • Reduce clinical and regulatory risk through medication oversight, standardized documentation, and proactive trend analysis.
  • Design and implement a standardized nursing model defining roles, scope, caseload, and supervision.
  • Oversee contracted nursing vendors, setting quality and documentation standards.
  • Lead medication management infrastructure, including eMAR system selection and implementation.
  • Standardize nursing documentation and integrate quality assurance with compliance.
  • Establish training and competency frameworks for nurses, DSPs, and home providers.
  • Lead use of health risk assessment tools and analyze hospitalization data to drive prevention.
  • Ensure cross-functional communication and serve as clinical health advisor.
  • Align nursing staffing and expenditures with quality outcomes and risk reduction goals.
