Description

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Platform team, you will build and maintain production infrastructure and release pipelines to support Ripple's crypto solutions. You'll design platform features, coach junior engineers, and drive DevOps and GitOps practices to improve engineering efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's in CS or related field
• 8+ years experience with Go, Python, or Java
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, containerization
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with observability platforms (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry)

Responsibilities

• Build platform features for compute, authentication, service discovery, observability, redundancy
• Lead architectural decisions balancing scale, cost, maintenance
• Coach junior engineers on design, development, testing, deployment
• Deploy and maintain multi-region, multi-provider service platforms with security and resiliency
• Develop automation tools for monitoring and instrumentation to reduce operational friction
