💼 About This Role

You'll set the technical direction for Snowflake's internal data platform as a senior individual contributor with principal-level scope. You'll define architectural standards, build AI-powered tooling and agent frameworks, and partner with product teams to push the platform forward. This role requires working from our Menlo Park office 3 days per week.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define architectural standards for data modeling, RBAC, and deployment workflows
• Build and deploy AI-powered tooling and agent frameworks
• Design and implement row access policies and column masking at scale
• Partner with product teams on feature testing and proof-of-concepts

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data architecture
• Deep expertise in Snowflake including advanced modeling, RBAC, and Cortex features
• Expert-level dbt skills with macro development and CI/CD integration
• Hands-on experience with Airflow or similar orchestration platforms

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience at a technology company with a large-scale internal data platform
• Prior experience building internal developer tooling or platform-as-a-product
• Python proficiency for data pipeline development and automation
