Description

You will lead Lyft's Ontario policy portfolio, working directly with elected officials and stakeholders to shape and execute the company's national strategy. You'll handle legislative, regulatory, and government issues critical to Lyft's operations, and collaborate cross-functionally to advance priorities and build community partnerships.

Requirements

• 5+ years government and/or business experience in tech sector preferred
• Knowledge of federal, provincial, and municipal legislative processes
• Experience directly lobbying government officials on complex issues
• Superior organizational skills and cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)

Responsibilities

• Execute legislative, regulatory, and political strategy advancing Lyft's priorities
• Represent Lyft in interactions with government officials and at public events
• Track legislation relevant to Lyft at municipal and county levels
• Work cross-functionally to develop public policy strategies supporting operations and business growth
• Maintain relationships with industry trade associations and stakeholders
