💼 About This Role

You'll join Okta's Defensive Cyber Engineering team to safeguard environments, working closely with Security, Business Technology, and Product teams. You'll implement security solutions and ensure infrastructure protects workforce, endpoints, and corporate data. This role stands out for its engineering-first approach and influence on security best practices across the organization.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Serve as security SME for solution engineering and architecture reviews
• Lead evaluation, design, and implementation of enterprise security systems
• Build and maintain custom automation and cloud infrastructure with Terraform
• Develop integrations with APIs and cloud platforms for detection and response

📋 Requirements

• Hands-on experience with enterprise security tools (Okta, Crowdstrike, Palo Alto)
• Strong coding and scripting skills (Python preferred)
• Experience automating security controls with a cloud-first approach
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code

• Experience with advanced identity management technologies (MFA, SAML, OAuth)
• Deep understanding of Okta's ecosystem including advanced configuration
• Experience with continuous compliance solutions (policy-as-code)
