💼 About This Role

You'll build and lead the Lab function at Fundraise Up, operating ahead of the roadmap to investigate high-risk, high-upside product bets. Your core impact is reducing uncertainty through fast experiments and making decisive scale/pivot/kill calls. This role stands out as a player-coach position where you personally own 1-2 bets while building a repeatable Lab Operating System.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own the Lab bet portfolio, sizing opportunities and making scale/iterate/kill calls.
• Frame experiments around the riskiest assumption with pre-defined kill criteria.
• Synthesize results into recommendations and communicate what was learned.
• Source and close lighthouse pilots with clear scope and metrics.
• Build a repeatable Lab Operating System including pipeline reviews and demos.

📋 Requirements

• 8-10+ years in Product with a proven 0→1 track record.
• Personally owned multiple high-risk bets with explicit go/kill decisions.
• 3+ years managing PMs in a player-coach or group lead role.
• Hands-on AI experience using LLMs, APIs, or modern tooling to prototype.

• Ex-founder with clear ship/scale/kill story.
• Payments, fintech, e-commerce, or nonprofit domain experience.
• EU market familiarity (PSD2/SCA, data/privacy norms) and additional languages.
