Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer II for Mechanical Assembly at Rocket Lab, you'll enable production to meet rates while maintaining quality. You'll own products released to production, resolve blockers, disposition non-conformances, perform root-cause analysis, and develop/improve manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving and risk mitigation skills in manufacturing
• Background in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering
• Proficiency in technical documentation and project ownership
• Experience with PLM/ERP systems and lean manufacturing principles
• Skilled in new product implementation and tooling design

Responsibilities

• Support production team to achieve required rates with high quality
• Take ownership of products released to production
• Remove production blockers and disposition non-conformance tickets
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes and procedures
