Description

You will perform professional-level fire protection engineering services, including life safety code consulting, sprinkler design, fire alarm design, and performance-based fire engineering design. You'll develop plans, specifications, and inspection reports, conduct building code analyses, and support project managers. Requirements

• Bachelor's in Fire Protection Engineering or related field
• 0-3 years experience
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards
• Ability to perform engineering calculations
• CADD document preparation skills

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection engineering services under direction of a P.E.
• Develop plans, specifications, and inspection reports
• Conduct building code analyses, egress analyses, and fire alarm reviews
• Perform hydraulic calculations and sprinkler/water supply reviews
• Submit progress reports to project managers
