💼 About This Role

You'll build and scale geospatial data infrastructure as a Geospatial Data Engineering Intern, working on Airflow ELT pipelines and contributing to an Airflow 2 to 3 migration. You'll get hands-on experience with geospatial data and exposure to AI agent tooling.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and improve Airflow ELT pipelines for geospatial datasets
• Assist with Airflow 2 to 3 migration including porting DAGs
• Write type-hinted Python and SQL with geospatial operations
• Contribute to data quality systems and schema validation

📋 Requirements

• Currently a junior or senior undergrad in CS or related field
• At least one prior internship with team-based engineering experience
• Strong fundamentals in Python and SQL
• Comfortable with Git/GitHub and Unix command line

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with geospatial concepts and tooling like PostGIS
• Exposure to AWS (S3, IAM, Athena, etc.)
• Experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools
