💼 About This Role
You'll execute cleanroom operations for novel optoelectronic devices powering our next-generation quantum computers. You'll work closely with a Senior Engineer to turn device architectures into physical prototypes by running daily fabrication processes. This role operates out of the COSINC cleanroom at CU Boulder, offering hands-on work in a collaborative startup environment.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Execute thin-film deposition, photolithography, wet/dry etching, and metal lift-off.
- Run profilometry, ellipsometry, and microscopy for process characterization.
- Document run cards, process parameters, and yield data for rapid iteration.
- Assist in maintenance, troubleshooting, and qualification of cleanroom tooling.
📋 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Materials Science.
- 1-4 years of hands-on cleanroom experience in semiconductor, MEMS, or photonics.
- Proficiency with spin coating, mask alignment, sputtering/evaporation, and wet/dry etching.
- High attention to detail and disciplined process documentation skills.

- Experience in a shared academic or foundry cleanroom facility.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset in a startup environment.
- Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds.
