Description
You will partner with potential customers to support their Hex evaluations, serving as a trusted technical advisor to data teams. You'll own the technical sales cycle, from discovery through proof of concept, and work closely with Account Executives to develop deal strategy and share customer feedback with product teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional work experience
- 3+ years in Sales Engineer or similar customer-facing technical role
- Experience with Mid Market customers (250-2500 employees)
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, and BI tools
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to data teams during evaluations
- Own the technical sales cycle including demos, trials, and proofs of concept
- Partner with Account Executives to develop opportunity-level strategy
- Inform product roadmap by synthesizing customer feedback
- Project manage architecture, security, and technical reviews
