💼 About This Role

You'll lead technical discovery across client engagements, conducting interviews with engineers and scientists to surface qualifying R&D activities. You'll author HMRC-defensible technical narratives that articulate scientific or technological advances. You'll also shape AI-driven workflows to improve technical documentation and client delivery.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead technical discovery interviews with engineers and scientists.
• Author and review HMRC-defensible technical narratives.
• Apply DSIT Guidelines to assess qualification across sectors.
• Support HMRC enquiry defence as technical lead.

📋 Requirements

• Significant experience writing R&D tax technical narratives in a top-tier firm.
• Degree in STEM discipline (computer science, engineering, physics, etc.).
• Strong understanding of HMRC's definition of R&D for tax purposes.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements and deadlines.
