Description

You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to design, build, and activate infrastructure for critical projects, including power-specific engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities for manufacturing, industrial, and commercial facilities. Your work ensures reliable power delivery to support SpaceX's Starlink mission.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology
• 3+ years professional experience with design and/or build of commercial or industrial power systems
• Working knowledge of delta/wye transformers, switchgear, motor control centers, and facility grounding
• Familiarity with National Electric Code, National Fire Protection Association, and International Building Code
• Ability to work onsite at Bastrop, TX facility; extended hours and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform power-specific engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning for critical projects
• Develop drawings, design documentation, and reports for manufacturing, industrial, and commercial projects
• Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors through close-out
• Coordinate with electrical utility provider for reliable power service to site infrastructure
• Interact with engineers, contractors, fabricators, and project stakeholders
