💼 About This Role

You'll design and support production tooling and fixtures for modular data center and power distribution products, bridging manufacturing and design engineering. You'll ensure every assembly operation is safe, repeatable, and efficient by owning fixture designs from concept through lifecycle. This role offers the chance to impact the rapid scaling of AI infrastructure with an energy-first approach.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and detail jigs, fixtures, assembly aids, and test tooling using SolidWorks.
• Participate in DFM/DFMA reviews to improve manufacturability.
• Coordinate first-article inspections with fabrication vendors.
• Author work instructions and tooling setup sheets for production.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues on the production floor and implement fixes.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–6 years of fixture design or tooling engineering in manufacturing.
• SolidWorks proficiency including sheet metal and weldments.
• GD&T knowledge (ASME Y14.5) for fixture locating schemes.

✨ Nice to Have

• Master's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience designing tooling for sheet metal enclosures or electrical switchgear.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or poka-yoke principles.
