Description

As a Mechanical Engineer on the Starlink team, you will own harness design from concept through production and system integration. You'll develop electro-mechanical designs in NX CAD, generate schematics, perform analysis and testing, and interface with production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet project goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• Experience with CAD and FEA software
• Proficiency with Siemens NX and Teamcenter preferred
• 1+ years of hands-on project experience with complex mechanical systems preferred
• Ability to work long hours and weekends as necessary

Responsibilities

• Develop electro-mechanical design of wire harnesses for Starlink vehicles
• Design harness solutions in 3D NX CAD environment and manage trade studies
• Generate electrical schematics for flight and qualification designs
• Perform analysis and physical testing for thermal, loads, vibration, and shock qualification
• Create and release harness manufacturing documentation and drawings
