Description

You will design, develop, and maintain data platform offerings that empower Lyft with reliable and discoverable data. Collaborate with product stakeholders and lead projects from inception to execution, driving improvements in data operations and governance.

Requirements

• 3+ years software engineering experience with data structures/algorithms
• 2+ years building large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or data infrastructure
• Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies (Docker, cri-o, etc.)
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, monitor, and maintain platform elements
• Help establish roadmap and architecture based on technology and needs
• Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code
• Analyze systems and processes to find areas for improvement/automation
• Collaborate with product org stakeholders to prioritize custom edge cases
