Requirements

• PhD in Computer science or equivalent
• 11+ years industry experience in Computer Vision and AI
• Deep understanding of state-of-the-art Computer Vision theories and optimization strategies
• Strong communication skills and industry experience leading innovative research projects
• Strong publications track record in CV-related fields

Responsibilities

• Spearhead AI core technology research to prepare company's future and differentiate current business
• Collaborate with Samsung Research teams to align AI research with product applications
• Work on multi-modal tasks such as visual question answering, visual dialog, captioning, and vision-and-language representation learning
• Ensure Centers publish at top conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, TPAMI) and satisfy patent goals
• Organize scientific events (conferences, workshops, challenges)
