💼 About This Role

You'll be the guardian of data performance, availability, and scalability, managing mission-critical SQL Server, Postgres, and Snowflake. You'll automate the entire lifecycle of the data platform using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes. This role uniquely blends deep operational engineering with AI-driven automation to evolve routine tasks.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Implement AI tools and LLMs to reduce database toil and accelerate incident resolution.
• Own deep-level optimization of MSSQL and PostgreSQL at server, database, and query levels.
• Automate all data infrastructure using Terraform, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Manage on-call rotation serving as SME for SQL Server, Postgres, and Snowflake.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience maintaining high-traffic production Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
• Expert knowledge of Snowflake and hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Professional experience with Terraform, AWS, GitLab, and Octopus Deploy.
• Expert-level Python and PowerShell scripting skills.

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) and LLM integration experience.
• Familiarity with C# and ORM optimization (Entity Framework, Dapper).
• Experience with DynamoDB, OpenSearch, or Redis.
