💼 About This Role

You'll work as a trusted advisor on Google Cloud data and application modernization projects for fast-paced companies. You'll cover ETL/ELT, data warehousing, distributed processing, and streaming systems. This is a 6-month contract with potential extension, fully remote in Europe.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement data pipelines using GCP native tools
• Advise customers on data architecture and cloud migration
• Build ELT/ETL pipelines processing large datasets
• Develop production Spark or Hadoop applications

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a data engineer or comparable role
• Strong skills with Python or a JVM language (Java, Scala)
• Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases
• Experience with cloud data warehouses like BigQuery or Snowflake

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with dbt or Airbyte
• Familiarity with Terraform and DataOps practices
• Experience with CDC and streaming architectures
