💼 About This Role

You'll define FPGA architectures and implement high-performance digital logic for quantum processor control systems. You'll collaborate with hardware, firmware, and quantum engineering teams to build scalable, low-latency control hardware. This role offers hands-on impact on real quantum computers.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Develop and improve custom microprocessor for waveform generation and quantum computer logic.
  • Define architecture, data flow, and interfaces with cross-functional teams.
  • Implement, simulate, and verify designs including DSP pipelines and high-speed I/O.
  • Support lab validation and debugging on actual quantum computers.

📋 Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in FPGA design for complex mixed-signal systems.
  • Proficiency in Verilog or VHDL and industry-standard FPGA toolchain.
  • Strong understanding of processor architecture or digital signal processing.
  • Experience with high-speed serial interfaces (e.g., PCIe, JESD, SERDES).

✨ Nice to Have

  • Experience with RF/microwave or mixed-signal systems.
  • Familiarity with ASIC design.
  • Exposure to quantum computing and scientific Python stack.
