You will work with alternative data to gather industry context and business fundamentals, partner with data scientists and engineers to develop analyses, and deliver synthesized insights to investment professionals to aid in their research processes.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or advanced degree with demonstrated academic success
• 1-5 years of prior equity/investment/scientific research or consulting experience
• Basic proficiency with SQL and Python
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Attention to detail, organization, and project management skills

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret alternative data from multiple sources, developing subject-matter expertise on key themes and KPIs for your coverage industry
• Produce research for internal consumption via written reports, verbal communication, and visualization tools
• Interact with investment professionals to learn the discretionary investment process and drive informed decisions
• Collaborate with proprietary research teams (Data Sourcing, Data Science, Data Engineering) and Compliance to source, explore, and transform data assets
