Description

You'll design and implement algorithms that turn real-time sensor data from self-watering plant products into reliable, human-readable insights, ensuring users can trust their plants are healthy. You'll work with noisy time series data, build robust pipelines, and collaborate with hardware, firmware, and product teams to deliver a magical user experience.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building real-world systems in time-series, signal processing, sensor data, and applied ML
• Deep expertise in Python and building robust, scalable pipelines
• Strong technical foundation (BSc/MSc/PhD in CS/EE/Math/Physics or equivalent)
• Obsession with quality, stability, and clarity
• Bonus: experience with computer vision and multi-modal sensing

Responsibilities

• Invent and implement algorithms that infer state from raw sensor data
• Build logic that works reliably on millions of devices in real-world environments
• Handle missing data, drift, resets, and edge cases with rigor
• Simulate edge cases, validate rigorously, and prevent regressions
• Translate algorithm outputs into clean, interpretable product signals
