Description

You will run complex technical and strategic programs connecting startups with industry and government partners to deliver pilots that prove out critical technologies. You'll build relationships with stakeholders, lead research and workshops, and bridge technical research with innovation to inform strategic decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining, Geological, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
• 5-8+ years of progressive technical or program leadership experience in mining, heavy industry, energy, or adjacent industrial systems
• Demonstrated ability to define, scope and lead complex programs
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to bridge technical research and innovation to inform strategic decisions

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and prioritize novel technologies, informing strategic decisions and pilot designs
• Assess startups holistically—team, technology readiness, engineering risk, market opportunity, and fit with partners
• Maintain pulse on industry, startup, and investment ecosystems; identify technology signals and trends
• Lead end-to-end definition, scoping and execution of commercialization programs
• Build and sustain relationships with external stakeholders including partners, entrepreneurs, academics, and experts
