Description

You will design, build, and scale robust distributed systems powering personalized content recommendations for millions of Roku users. You'll focus on developing end-to-end ML platforms and infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployment and optimization of algorithms at scale.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building software solutions to concrete problems.
• Strong CS fundamentals; ability to write algorithms with ease.
• Fluency in Java, Scala, Kotlin, or Python.
• Experience with big data systems: Spark, Kafka, Flink, S3, AirFlow.
• Familiarity with ML frameworks: Ray, PyTorch, HuggingFace, AWS SageMaker.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable platform services: feature store, real-time inference services, vector DBs.
• Run and monitor online A/B tests, analyzing platform metrics and business KPIs.
• Collaborate with US-based engineering and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into modular platform components.
• Enhance and evolve the ML platform ecosystem for high developer velocity and scalability.
• Contribute to onboarding and mentoring new team members on platform engineering best practices.
