Description

You will develop and modify designs for aero-engine components, working with a team to tackle cutting-edge challenges. Your work involves using CAE tools like NX and ANSYS to design gas turbine components, ensuring cost, performance, and life requirements are met.

Requirements

• 1-3 years experience in mechanical design of gas-turbine or turbo-machinery components
• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering
• Experience with NX and ANSYS
• Ability to interpret technical drawings with GD&T understanding
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Responsibilities

• Develop/modify designs for aero-engine components based on product specs and manufacturing capabilities
• Execute mechanical design of gas turbine components on structures/rotating parts
• Evaluate new designs, manufacturing methods, and materials; complete documentation
• Capture design system requirements from customer and incorporate into component design
• Support technical substantiation and present in technical/program reviews
