Description

You will join the Database Experience team to build tools that help users manage MongoDB at global scale. You'll work on products like mongosh, MongoDB MCP Server, and VSCode extension, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation. This role is in Dublin with a hybrid working model.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience with backend systems (Node.js, Java, C#, Go, etc.)
• Experience designing modern, scalable, high-availability web applications
• Experience working with databases
• Collaborative and approachable attitude
• Willingness to tackle difficult distributed systems problems

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain developer tools for MongoDB Atlas
• Design and architect scalable, high-availability web applications
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for incident response
• Collaborate with a diverse team on globally distributed systems
• Work across backend and occasional frontend tasks
