💼 About This Role

You'll design and build ML solutions that protect millions of Airbnb users from fraud. You'll own end-to-end ML pipelines, from model design to productionization, with direct impact on user trust and safety. This role offers the chance to tackle real-world challenges like account takeover and payment fraud at massive scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope ML solutions for trust use cases
• Design and productionize end-to-end ML pipelines for batch and real-time
• Investigate emerging fraud patterns and develop ML-based detections
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews

📋 Requirements

• 5-10 years of applied ML experience building and productionizing models at scale
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Solid understanding of ML algorithms such as gradient boosted trees and neural networks
• Experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch

✨ Nice to Have

• Exposure to trust and risk domain (fraud detection, anomaly detection)
• Experience with Scala, Java, or equivalent
• Master's or PhD in CS/ML
