You'll own go-to-market in a new vertical for Clay, a platform helping organizations turn growth ideas into reality. You'll run consultative discovery, build pipeline, and close net-new business while shaping Clay's expansion into entirely new industries. This role offers a front-row seat to how top GTM teams operate in a post-AI world.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Own GTM in your vertical, building pipeline and closing net-new business.
  • Run consultative discovery connecting Clay to vertical-specific workflows.
  • Build and demo live in the product, not just describe it.
  • Develop industry-specific use cases and messaging with minimal support.
  • Navigate vertical-specific legal and compliance considerations.

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Experience founding or working in a specific vertical such as financial services or healthcare.
  • Technical fluency: speak the language of data, systems, and integrations.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and bias toward action; translate customer needs into product requirements.
  • Experience selling a horizontal product across multiple industries or working with data vendors.

  • Track record of closing in a consultative, multi-stakeholder selling motion.
  • Background as a founder or early GTM hire at a startup.
  • Familiarity with tools and providers in the targeted vertical's data ecosystem.
