Description

As the technical lead and manager of the core infrastructure team, you will design and operate reliable, scalable foundational services and frameworks that enable rapid product growth. You'll partner with machine learning, search, product, data, and full stack teams to build elegant solutions for Moveworks' conversational AI platform.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing a team of 5+ engineers including senior engineers
• 7+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining highly scalable and fault-tolerant backend distributed systems
• Proficiency in Python, Golang, Java, or C++
• Experience with Docker and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience operating Kafka, Elasticsearch or Opensearch, Istio, Vector DB at scale

Responsibilities

• Oversee and evolve Moveworks infrastructure architecture and foundation services with high reliability, scalability, performance, and security
• Architect and build core infrastructure like distributed key value store, schema-less data store, event streaming, distributed configuration management, rate limiting, feature flags, A/B testing, and search infrastructure
• Define methodologies and metrics to measure performance, identify bottlenecks, and improve overall performance and scalability
• Hire and mentor engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Work closely with ML, search, product, data, and frontend teams to understand their needs and influence the infrastructure roadmap
