💼 About This Role

You'll design and implement FPGA-based RTL features for a cutting-edge automotive LiDAR product at MicroVision. You'll own the detailed design of firmware components, integrate them into system hardware, and mentor junior team members. This role offers the chance to work on innovative perception solutions for autonomous systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Derive FPGA requirements and create architecture
• Design, implement, and test RTL features and components
• Document test and implementation plans and execute them
• Support bringing up RTL features and coach junior members

📋 Requirements

• System Verilog and Verilog proficiency
• FPGA Design methodologies including timing closure
• 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience with HDL Synthesis/Simulation (VCS, Synplicity)

✨ Nice to Have

• Control systems and digital signal processing fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with High-Level Synthesis (HLS)
• Safety-critical industry experience (FIT analysis)
