Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer on the Starlink team, you will sustain current plastic injection molding production lines and ramp new lines to full-scale production for millions of devices. You'll develop molding processes through parameter optimization and DOE, own physical production layout, and drive design for manufacturing with engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics
• 1+ years manufacturing experience (professional or project-based)
• Direct experience with plastic injection molding (preferred)
• Ability to design tooling for high volume manufacturing (preferred)
• Experience with NX and Teamcenter (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Develop plastic injection molding manufacturing processes for Starlink hardware
• Optimize injection molding parameters through DOE and trials
• Implement plug-and-play processes for high-volume throughput (1M+ per year)
• Own production layout, material flow, tooling, inventory, and training
• Drive design for test and design for manufacturing with design and test engineers
