💼 About This Role

You'll lead legacy system decommissioning across the Joint Operational Medicine Information Systems (JOMIS) portfolio, transitioning systems like TMDS and TMIP-J into modernized platforms. You'll coordinate across government leadership, vendors, and value teams to ensure minimal disruption to mission-critical medical operations. This role offers the chance to drive enterprise modernization in a high-impact DoD healthcare environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead development and execution of decommissioning strategies for legacy systems like TMDS, TC2, AHLTA-T, and TMIP-J modules.
• Coordinate transition of legacy capabilities into modernized systems such as MHS GENESIS Theater and OpMed CDP.
• Leverage Jira roadmaps to track progress and manage dependencies across modern product teams.
• Develop executive-level artifacts including COAs, LOEs, and status reporting for leadership.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Healthcare IT, or related field.
• Proven experience in program management within Healthcare IT, Operational Medicine, or large-scale system modernization.
• Experience with legacy system decommissioning or enterprise transformation programs.
• Familiarity with DoD healthcare systems including operational medicine or deployed medical systems.

• Experience with systems such as TMDS, TMIP-J, or similar legacy health IT platforms.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• PMP certification.
