You'll join the Core Issuing Processing team to own the technical roadmap for Marqeta's card issuing and payment processing platform. You'll drive high-impact initiatives that optimize core processing engines and mentor technical leads. This role offers the chance to shape foundational systems at a leading fintech company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own the technical roadmap and author system designs
• Write, review, and optimize code across the issuing/processing stack
• Identify and drive high-impact technical initiatives
• Collaborate with Product Managers on technical recommendations

📋 Requirements

• 12+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
• Experience developing microservices using AWS
• Experience with high volume/low latency data infrastructures
• Proficiency in Java, Springboot, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Kafka, JPOS
