💼 About This Role

You'll model, simulate, and design the physical layer modem for a LEO satellite constellation communication network. You'll leverage expertise in system analysis and modem design to ensure reliable data transmission. This role is critical for advancing space-based IoT systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and implement detailed mathematical models of physical layer communication systems
• Design architecture and algorithms for physical layer modems including modulation and coding
• Perform link budget analysis, throughput, latency, and error rate evaluations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration and field trials

📋 Requirements

• 10 years of experience in wireless communications systems
• Strong background in communication theory and digital signal processing
• Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink for modeling and simulation
• Experience designing and developing physical layer modems

✨ Nice to Have

• Strong knowledge of 3GPP standards preferably 5G NR
• Knowledge of LDPC, Turbo Codes, or Polar Codes
• Experience with SDR platforms and programming in C/C++ or Python
