💼 About This Role

You'll develop machining capability in-house for SpaceX Starship components and own the relationship between engineering and production teams. You'll deliver high-precision piece parts and drive rapid iterations to optimize designs for manufacturing. This role directly supports the goal of enabling human life on Mars.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop in-house machining capability for Starship components
• Analyze parts for design for manufacturing and assembly
• Maintain feedback loop with downstream operations for rapid iterations
• Review quality concerns and sign off on out-of-tolerance conditions

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics
• 1+ years of machine shop experience

• Master's degree
• Experience with CNC programming (lathes and mills)
• Well versed in GD&T and inspection procedures
