💼 About This Role

You'll join Okta's Universal Directory Platform team to build and maintain the intelligent core of enterprise security fabric. Your work will directly impact user lifecycle management and identity relationships at scale. This role follows a hybrid model, requiring two days per week in our San Francisco office.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement high-performance distributed scalable and fault-tolerant software components.
• Develop and maintain frameworks and toolings for Universal Directory Service platform.
• Conduct quality code reviews and automated testing.
• Partner with Product Development, QA, and Site Reliability Engineering teams.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of Software Development in Java with Hibernate and Spring Boot.
• 5+ years developing services, internal tools, and frameworks.
• 3+ years automating and deploying large scale production services in AWS, GCP, or similar.
• Hands-on understanding of SQL databases.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Go programming language.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Active Directory or Microsoft Azure.
