Description
You will manage pre- and post-award grant accounting, including reconciliation, financial reporting, and compliance for government and private funders. You'll prepare vouchers, journal entries, and budgets, and coordinate with contract management and field offices to ensure accurate financial tracking.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
- 8+ years of grant accounting experience, preferably nonprofit
- Knowledge of federal cost principles and Uniform Guidance CFR Part 200
- Advanced Excel and Abila MIP accounting software
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Prepare grant/contract reconciliations and closeouts
- Prepare financial reports and vouchers for funders
- Run financial reports and reconcile contract data
- Prepare journal entries for grant contracts and vouchers
- Coordinate with contract management on funding status
